In today’s economy, many people are trying to stretch a dollar as far as they can. Everyone wants to find a way to save money and get more for their purchases. When it comes to shopping online, its surely easy to find a good deal, but its the shipping and handling charges that get you in trouble. There are so many advertisements that offer you a product to try and all you have to do is just pay the shipping and handling fees. This sounds really nice at first, getting a product for free and basically paying the amount it costs to ship it. The downside to this is that you usually have to use a credit card and be ready to purchase the product for the full price after the first 30 days. If you do not call to cancel your free product, then the company will automatically charge your credit card for the full price of the product.
It would seem that you could get the same products at local stores but purchases online are usually better and more abundant. Shopping online can be great because it does save you time and money, not having to use gas running around town or paying taxes on your products. Often times, you can find a product for cheaper than you would find it in stores. The down side to shopping online is the shipping fees associated with the purchases. If you can wait a week or so to get your products, then online it usually best, because the shipping will either be free or less than tax at local stores. The benefit of going to local stores, is that you receive the product immediately and have no problem returning it, if it does not meet your needs. Whereas, online would be a bit longer, but the process is still possible. Most of the time they will tell you this information upfront, but sometimes you have to read the fine print or ask questions. Usually this is what I call ” to good to be true.”
